No. Setup asks about your business in plain words and builds your pages for you. You can change anything afterwards by clicking it in the editor, but you don't have to.

It's made for trades such as plumbers, electricians, joiners, roofers, landscapers and builders, with words written for each. Other local businesses can use it too: choose Other in setup and add your own services.

Setup is a few minutes of questions, and your pages are built as soon as you've answered them. You can publish straight away or take your time: nothing goes live until you say so.

Yes. Every word, photo and section can be changed in the editor, and you can add new sections from a large library of layouts.

Yes. Choose another design and JW Builder lays your pages out again. Pages you've added yourself are kept, and if you've changed a page it asks before replacing it.

Yes. Every design works on phones, tablets and computers, and you can preview each size as you edit.

Yes, with Pro. Connect a domain you already own: we show you the settings to add and check them for you. Every website also has a free address at yourname.uat.jw-sites.co.uk.

Each page has a title and description you can set, and your website publishes a sitemap and your business details in the form search engines read. Where you appear in Google's results is up to Google, so nobody can promise you a position, but the basics are in place from the start.

No. It's there when you want it. Enquiries from your website reach your email either way.

Gmail, including Google Workspace mailboxes on your own domain. Without a connected mailbox, your quotes, invoices and booking emails go from JW Builder's own address instead.

It shows your email in JW Builder's inbox so you can answer customers there, and sends the emails you write from your own address. It never changes, moves or deletes anything in your mailbox. Read exactly what we do with your Google account.

Yes. Add a booking section to your website and customers can book a time. Each booking appears in your diary, confirmed automatically or waiting for you to say yes, and the customer gets a link to check, move or cancel it.

Yes. Invite people as an owner, admin, editor, contributor or viewer, and choose which websites each person can see.

Yes. You can build up to 10 websites and publish 3 of them on free addresses without paying anything. You don't need a card to start.

£9.99 a month, or £99.99 a year, for each website you upgrade. Paying yearly saves £19.89.

Your own domain, no “Website by JW Digital” line, and the website stops counting towards your free published websites.

From Billing in your dashboard, at any time. Pro carries on until the end of the period you've paid for.

Your website stays published on its free address. If it uses your own domain, we email you, and after 14 days the domain stops showing your website.

You do. You keep ownership of everything you create, and we only host and show it to run the service. The terms say so.

Your website and your customers' details are kept in our database, hosted in London, and handled by the providers named in our privacy notice.

No. We don't sell your data or your customers' data, and there are no adverts on your website. Free websites carry a small “Website by JW Digital” line, which Pro removes.

Yes, from Account settings. Deleting your account deletes the businesses you own, with their websites and records. If you're a member of someone else's business, what you added stays with that business.
